A long regenerating week-end that will help you alleviate the stress you've been accumulating over the year.
First day:
Arrival and accommodation in a 3 stars hotel (or 4 stars) in the afternoon. Welcome cocktail. Dinner and overnight.
Second day:
Right after breakfast we'll be having a Val d'Orcia Tour; this UNESCO protected Nature Park, abundant in curvy hills and way-delimiting cypresses, is one of Tuscany's typical feature. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon we'll be leaving for Pienza, Pope Pius Piccolomini the II's hometown, not surprisingly known as "the Ideal City", that will excite us with its Piazza and its excellent Pecorino-selling workshops, which are hidden in tiny narrow streets. We'll continue towards Montepulciano, 6th century's pearl, a small town rich in art and history. Guided tour. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Third day:
Enjoy some leisure time over the morning, where you could optionally benefit from a tone-up massage, a relaxing foot bath or whatever the Thermal complex is able to offer. We'll have lunch at the hotel and we'll then depart to Chiusi, Lucumone Porsenna's town, previously inhabited by the Etruscans. We'll be visiting the Cathedral and its labyrinth (ground excavations) and the famous Etruscan Museum, which is for sure one of Italy's most astonishing ones. We'll proceed to Sarteano, small town that still preserves various medieval relics. We'll then have the chance to taste some of the worldwide renowned Tuscan wines inside a 15th century historical mansion. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Fourth day:
Straight after breakfast, we'll be packing our baggage and we'll be leaving towards Siena. Guided tour of this wonderful city. Typical lunch in an old characteristic trattoria. Leisure time in the afternoon and departure.
