Third day: After breakfast, we'll be leaving for the Val d'Orcia, one of the world's most exploited landscapes for pictures, videos etc. We'll be visiting some medieval villages that still preserve their origins. We'll continue to Sarteano where we'll be greeted by Giorgio, in his Santa Chiara restaurant. This hidden restaurant, overlooking the valley, was obtained inside of an old convent. Giorgio, together with his wife, recreated the old recipes that the nuns who used to live here currently cooked. It is considered to be a historically "simple cuisine", but nevertheless it is still excellent. Return to the hotel, leisure time, dinner and overnight.
Fourth day: We'll be headed to the Trasimeno Lake after breakfast. We'll have a tour in order to visit the small villages overlooking the lake. At small distance, we'll visit Piegaro. It's another village, pretty famous for its glass-work and because the noble Pallavicini family used to have their countryside mansion here, whose astonishing stables where reconverted into the restaurant Mondo Antico. An old time charm, a medieval costume service and the cordiality of the owners are awaiting us for a typical Umbrian lunch. Departure.
